Records pertaining to buildings, including the Market Place building (ca. 1851-1904), the Main Building on Mount Royal Avenue, and the Mount Royal Station Building. Includes specifications, correspondence and blueprints.

The series consists of publications from the years of MICA's founding in 1826 through 1907. They are a combination of original documents and print-outs from PDF files made from documents owned by the Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore, MD. Most of these documents were digitized to PDF files during research for MICA: Making History/Making Art.

294 silver gelatin or color photoprints, some matted. Each is identified with an inventory number as part of the MICA Art Collection. The images comprise a photographic survey of Maryland (cities, towns, and neighborhoods; trade and industry; scenic views; individual and group portraits) ca.1980. The photographs were exhibited at MICA in 1982. A parallel collection is held at UMBC's Albin O. Kuhn Library Special Collections.

The collection comprises research reports, artist statements, and visual documentation of art work submitted by degree candidates in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the graduate degrees granted by MICA beginning in 1956.
